I saw the nurse who draws my blood and tracks my labs today. She was all enthused that my blood work from yesterday came back normal, without raised leaves uric acid.
We want raised
levels of uric acid within the normal range.
This would mean we have tumor lysis, but not too much too fast where it
would poison my system. Therefore, it
initially appears, I am not responding to the venetoclax. Although I could very well be wrong.
The nausea is not
bad today, but the pain continues to be a problem. The oxycodone is making bowel movements
difficult, yet not controlling the pain as I would like. It intoxicates more than it relieves pain. Very frustrating.
I want to run
this weekend.
